Summary of article: In this article Nellie tells us a bit more then just lemurs and wildlife in Madagascar. The reader learns new things in this article, other than endless searching for a site that is not about Disney's Madagascar movies...
My thoughts, emotions, and observations about the cultural activity in this article: The entire time I was reading this article I honestly was so grateful I could even find an article. Madagascar is not really the first place to come to mind when wanting to travel so I thought I wouldn't find anything... I searched a lot for a culture base article, but I really could not find one.
How the event or practice in this article is important to culture in this country: I never would have realized you can, "climb sharp karst stone pinnacles," in a place called Tsingy de Bemahara. I thought Madagascar's culture was closer. As in a kind of peaceful environment with wildlife, but I was very wrong. Nellie Haung taught me that Madagascar people can be outgoing and generous people.
